Handmade from premium grade Sweet Chestnut these shingles/shakes are feathered as well as trimmed to fit nicely together. 
 
Sweet Chestnut is a strong, reliable wood to use for shingles. It is rich in tannins that help prevent rot and attack making them a long lasting shingle for walls and roofs.
 
 

Our hand clefted Sweet Chestnut shingles are £86.25 per square metre.
